COLUMBUS, OH (May 26, 2010) –  The TTX Company SECO (Supplier Evaluation Committee) has evaluated and designated Columbus Castings a  “TTX Excellent Supplier”  for 2009.  This marks the third consecutive year that Columbus Castings has achieved “TTX Excellent Supplier” status for cost, quality, delivery, service, and financial performance.

FREE Foundry Sand
The USEPA has found that spent foundry sands produced by iron, steel, and aluminum foundries are
environmentally safe and, in fact, have lower concentrations of heavy metals than many native background
soils. Ohio EPA supports the use of spent foundry sands from these foundry types in the following

STATE AWARDS FRANKLIN COUNTY $200,000 GRANT
Columbus, OH - Lieutenant Governor Bruce Johnson today announced that Franklin County has been awarded
$200,000 from the Industrial Site Improvement Fund (ISIF), which provides grants to improve qualified
commercial and industrial areas. The funds will be used to replace Columbus Castings’ outdated water-cooling
and distribution system.

COLUMBUS CASTINGS FINANCES SCHOLARSHIPS
Columbus Castings aims to be involved with its community, specifically its neighborhood on the south side of
Columbus, OH, and a visible sign of that outreach are two $5,000 scholarships CC has established for seniors
at the city’s South and Marion High Schools.
